We had 7 winners from our 7 First Division games today, with K Sports, Rochester United, AFC Whyteleafe, Forest Hill Park, FC Elmstead, Staplehurst Monarchs and Larkfield & New Hythe all collecting 3 points.
K Sports still sit proudly at the top of the pile following their narrow 3-2 win at Bridon Ropes. Goals from Sean Nicholls and Arjan Chagger saw Ropes go 2-0 up but a Brad Adkins double and one from George Batten saw Sports once again take maximum points.
Three of today’s home teams were 1-0 winners.
Kameiko Pope-Campbell got the only goal as FC Elmstead beat Croydon, Rochester United saw off Lewisham Borough thanks to Harvey Brown’s late effort and Gavin Tomlin scored for Forest Hill Park, as they edged out Canterbury City.
AFC Whyteleafe and Staplehurst Monarchs kept up their 100% winning records with victories.
Whyteleafe were 2-1 winners at Greenways, with Aaron Watson and Gus Ward both on target while Harley Gorse, Stanley Oldfield, Max Juniper and Sam Winch all scored for Staplehurst in a 4-0 success at home to SC Thamesmead.
Larkfield & New Hythe returned to winning ways, as they came away from Tooting Bec as 3-1 victors. Matt Day scored them all for the Larks, who now sit just outside the prized play-off places.
