From our 8 First Division fixtures today, we had 7 winners, with Faversham Strikeforce, Forest Hill Park, AFC Whyteleafe, Snodland Town, Greenways, Lydd Town and Tooting Bec all picking up 3 points.
Snodland now have a 5 point advantage at the top after Jon Pilbeam gave them a narrow success at home to Croydon. Lydd Town are in second thanks to a 3-2 win at SC Thamesmead and a surprise defeat for Larkfield & New Hythe against AFC Whyteleafe sees the Larks drop to 3rd.
Faversham Strike Force strengthened their promotion hopes when beating FC Elmstead while a late Lewisham leveller dented Rochester United’s play-off bid, but they still remain in 5th.
Forest Hill Park continued with their impressive run by handing Bermondsey Town a 2-0 loss, the same scoreline that Tooting Bec won at Staplehurst Monarchs.
It was no surprise that the highest scoring game came at Cobdown, where Jack Jeffery got the last of their 4 in a 60goal classic against Meridian VP.
