No home side was victorious in the First Division this Saturday with the 8 games providing us with 5 away winners, with the other 3 games drawn.
The 1-1 result for Bermondsey Town against Faversham Strike Force was not such a bad one though as it ended a 17 game losing run, with Ruben Duncan’s goal giving Dean Harrison’s new side a chance of survival.
The other two drawn games also finished 1-1, with Lydd Town and FC Elmstead sharing the spoils and Forest Hill Park and Harrison Hume ending level.
Of the winning teams, Kyron Lightfoot was on target which helped Larkfield & New Hythe win at Greenways and move to the top of the table, Jude Sodor and Alvin Turyatemba got the goals as Tooting Bec won at Bridon Ropes and Kieran Pallet set Staplehurst Monarchs on the way to a 3-0 win at SC Thamesmead.
The other 2 games finished 3-1 as Lewisham Borough won at AFC Whyteleafe and Meridian VP beat Croydon.
