The bad weather hit our First Division fixture list today but we still had 4 good games, and from them saw wins for SC Thamesmead, K Sports, Greenways and FC Elmstead.
For SC Thamesmead it was a first win of the season and they had to come from behind to get it at Bridon Ropes. John Thain put Ropes ahead but replies from Tom Borders and Max Woodfine earned the Acre a much-needed 3 points.
Greenways also collected an overdue victory. Michael Paton was the star of the show with a hat-trick for the Greens in a 4-2 win at Forest Hill Park.
FC Elmstead were 3-0 win at home to Canterbury City. Kanan Fitton, Darion Dowrich and Kola Salami got the goals for Elmstead who now sit in 12th place in the table.
Todd Brand netted a late double to help K Sports overcome Meridian VP at Cobdown. The visitors took the lead through in-form Zach Jacubowski but Brand’s brace in the final ten minutes earned the Paperboys the points.
