Today’s 7 First Division games gave us 6 winners, with AFC Whyteleafe, Meridian VP, Snodland Town, Tooting Bec, Larkfield & New Hythe and Lydd Town all picking up 3 points. Bridon Ropes and Forest Hill Park shared the spoils.
Larkfield & New Hythe won the battle of the top two with Brett Ince getting both in a 2-0 win at home to Rochester United.
Snodland Town’s 4-2 victory at Croydon moves them into second place, while Lydd Town are in third thanks to Kenny Pogue’s winner at Lewisham Borough.
Tooting Bec are in the play-off places after they won a classic with Greenways, Eoin Fraser got the decider in a 5-goal game at Cobdown.
AT the other end of the table Bermondsey Town remain bottom after Meridian VP left St Pauls with the points while Forest Hill Park moved a point further away from the basement boys after a draw at Bridon Ropes.
AFC Whyteleafe now sit in 10th place after they won 3-1 at home against SC Thamesmead. All 4 goals in that game came in the opening 25 minutes.
