Saturday 29th January – Premier Division
We had 9 Premier Division games today with just Kennington and Tunbridge Wells taking a break from league action.
Jack Evans and Dan Bradshaw were once again both on target, as leaders Chatham Town beat Erith Town 3-0 and new signing Henry Dasofunjo got the only goal as Sheppey United won at Holmesdale.
Glebe scored early and late in a 2-1 success at Hollands & Blair while Erith & Belvedere edged out Deal Town in an all-action single goal affair at Park View Road.
Crowborough Athletic were the biggest winners of the day as they saw off Lordswood 5-0 yet the highest scoring game came at Cobdown where a last minute penalty earned Welling Town a 4-3 victory over K Sports.
Canterbury City beat Fisher 2-1 with Josh Strouts and Luke Illsley scoring and Punjab United picked up 3 points at Rusthall thanks to a late Will Johnson-Cole penalty.
The game between Bearsted and Tower Hamlets was abandoned just before the break due to an injury sustained to the visiting goalkeeper. Bearsted led 2-0 at the time and the League will make a ruling on the fixture in due course.
