With two games finishing level we had 7 winners from our 9 games today with Deal Town, Phoenix Sports, Rusthall, Erith Town Punjab United, Sutton Athletic and Tunbridge Wells all picking up 3 points.
Erith Town remain in second spot after Jamie Humphris’ second half hat-trick saw them come from 2-0 down at half-time to beat Welling Town 3-2.
Femi Orunega’s first half double put the visitors in control at the break, but Humphris struck in the 57th minute to give the Dockers hope.
After levelling ten minutes later, he swept home a cross from 16 year- old Hayden Bullas to win the game in the 80th minute.
Phoenix Sports are a point behind in third after a 2-1 win at home to Whitstable Town.
Ryan Hayes and Tashi-Jay Kwasie scored in the first half before James Jeffrey grabbed a consolation for Whitstable.
Punjab United repeated their 1-0 win over leaders Erith & Belvedere two weeks ago, this time in the league, with veteran striker Paul Vines scoring.
Rusthall piled on the relegation worries of K Sports with a 4-0 win at Cobdown. James White and Luke Miller netted in the first half, with Louie Clarke and Addo Amankwah completing the win.
Jack Penny’s brace eased Deal Town to a 2-0 win at home to Bearsted and Sutton Athletic beat Stansted 3-2 with top scorer Arlie Desanges on target.
Tunbridge Wells continued their good form, beating Fisher 2-1. Connor Pring put them ahead and Trevor McCreadie grabbed a 74th minute winner, just two minutes after Manny Brown had levelled.
Elsewhere, bottom side Canterbury City drew 1-1 at home to Hollands & Blair while Glebe and Kennington finished 2-2.
