There were score draws galore today, as the top four and bottom two in the table each collected a solitary point, while Bearsted, Punjab United, Deal Town, Kennington and Whitstable Town all picked up vital wins.
It was a late great show from Erith & Belvedere as they drew 3-3 with Lordswood at Park View Road.
An Ethan Stewart double had helped the visitors to a 3-0 lead inside an hour but two penalties from Nathan Palmer, the second in the final minute, and a late Tunde Aderonmu strike, ensured the points were shared.
It was also honours even at Jockey Farm where second-placed Erith Town visited Rusthall.
After a goalless first half, Louie Clarke gave the hosts the lead. Jason Goodchiled levelled, before Steadman Callender put The Dockers ahead late on. With time running out Yassin Fares converted an injury time penalty and we had ourselves another draw.
The bottom two met at the Bauvill and once again the match finished 2-2.
Welling Town led 2-0 at the break, with Kweku Ansah and Kian Garlinge on target but Canterbury City picked up a point thanks to replies from Henry Arnold and Jimmy Witt.
There were no goals and little excitement at Foxbury where Glebe and Phoenix Sports drew 0-0 and maintained their respective 7th and 4th places in the standings.
Hollands & Blair celebrated the opening of their new look Star Meadow ground but it was Deal Town they were celebrating at the final whistle after a 3-1 victory.
Alfie Foster, Aaron Millbank and Riley Alford got the goals for Deal, who now sit in 5th place.
Whitstable Town are in 6th after their 3-0 home win against Sutton Athletic.
Josh Oliver netted a first half double before Jefferson Aibangbee completing the scoring in the 70th minute.
Punjab United continued their climb up the ranks with Lea Dawson getting Punjab United’s winner at Fisher while Mo Cham got the only goal of the game as Kenington beat Holmesdale.
