The Meeting of the league’s top two ended in a 2-2 draw as leaders Faversham Town rescued a late point at Glebe.
Keiron Campbell gave Faversham a half-time lead but Marcel McDonald levelled midway through the second half.
Jason Barton’s goal looked like taking Glebe to top spot but Warren Mfula levelled at the death.
Whitstable Town missed the chance to make up ground after a 4-2 defeat at Punjab United, with Wayne Bushell, Callum Stringer, Cruis Nyadzayo and Jack Hopkins all on target for the hosts.
Bearsted ended Erith Town’s 11 match unbeaten run despite twice losing the lead at Honey Lane. Goals from Joel Wakefield and Eniola Hassan were wiped out by Ladic Melconian and Harry Taylor before Will Johnson-Cole’s penalty earned the Bears a 3-2 win.
Bottom side Kennington came from 0-2 down to claim their second league win, beating Tunbridge Wells 4-3 with Ryan Philpott scoring twice.
Twins Tola and Wade Odedoyin both scored for Holmesdale as they beat Lordswood 4-2 at Oakley Road and Deal Town kept up their promotion push as Rory Smith and Ife Oni scored in a 2-0 win at Rusthall, while Richard Atkins’ goal gave Hollands & Blair a narrow 1-0 win at home to Stansfeld.
Elsewhere, VCD Athletic beat Snodland Town 1-0 and Sutton Athletic beat Welling Town 2-1 at home.
