Matchday 2 of the Premier Division season gave us wins for Corinthian, Fisher, Bearsted, Glebe, Erith Town and VCD Athletic while 4 of the 10 games finished even.

Fisher and Corinthian are both 2 and 2 for this season after their each followed up on opening day wins with another today.

Fisher were 5-1 victors at Hollands & Blair so top the early table. Julian Kuhr was the star Fish of the day, netting a hat-trick after Jojo Kinzonzi had given the visitors the lead.

Corinthian’s win was no less impressive.

Behind with 15 top play, against title favourites Faversham Town, goals from Kamron Holmes-Lewis, Luke Adams and Amin Gorgol, helped the Hoops to an eye-catching 3 points.

Bearsted were 5-1 winners at home to Welling Town.

Will Johnson-Cole claimed a double for the Bears with Dan Melvin, Dennis Agbudume and Ryan Blake getting the others.

VCD Athletic returned from Deal Town as 2-0 winners.

Goals in each half from Kweku Ansah then Vincent Follea means that  Deal are still searching for the first points of the campaign.

Erith Town left it late to complete their come from behind win against Lydd Town.

Luke Burdon had given Lydd a first half lead before Henry Arnold equalised on the hour mark and Harry Taylor popped in a last minute winner.

Glebe kicked off their league season with a 2-0 win over Whitstable Town.

Ali Fofanah got them both and Glebe are up and running.

Each of the 4 other games finished level.

Ed Mbango netted twice late on for Snodland Town in a 2-2 draw at Holmesdale and Valeriu Gurgurov opened the scoring in Rusthall’s 1-1 draw with Lordswood.

It was 0-0 between Punjab United and Kennington while Sutton Athletic and Tunbridge Wells drew 4-4, with Neil Spencer and Jack Kirby scoring doubles for Sutton – a feat Rory Ward matched for Wells.
