FIRST DIVISION

Lewisham Borough A-A Halls AFC

Rochester United 3-0 Faversham Strike Force

SC Thamesmead 2-2 Meridian VP

Soul Tower Hamlets 1-1 Sheppey Sports

Welling Town 0-3 Canterbury City

Canterbury City are now 3 points clear at the top of the First Division table following their 3-0 win at Welling Town.

Mo Cham, Rob Lawrence and Zack Jobe got the goals for City, who have played 4 games more than their closest rivals.

Rochester United were also 3-0 winners today, as a Luis Dos Santos hat-trick earned them a vital 3 points against play-off rivals Faversham Strike Force. Rochester are currently in 6th place but have multiple games in hand over all of the sides above them.

The other two games both finished level, with a late Will Evans double earning SC Thamesmead a point against Meridian VP and Jack Marsh’s last gasp equaliser ensuring Sheppey Sports didn’t return from Soul Tower Hamlets empty handed.

Lewisham Borough v Halls AFC was abandoned due to a serious leg injury to Halls captain Ashwin Mahill. We wish him the best with his recovery and thank those that responded quickly and professionally.
