Only 4 First Division sides went into Christmas of the back of wins today, with the top two teams in the table among those that earned themselves a precious3 points.

Canterbury remain at the summit after their 4-2 victory at Sheppey Sports. Zack Jobe was the star of the show for City, netting a hat-trick, while Harry Maher got the other in an impressive display.

Forest Hill Park are level on points with the leaders, and one place behind them, following their 3-0 win at Meridian VP. Brandon Barrance wrapped up the points for Forest Hill against a VP side yet to get a point this campaign.

Bridon Ropes were also winners today, thanks to a late winner at FC Elmstead while Greenways picked up the result of the day after their 5-2 success against Croydon. Timmy Babington with a hat-trick for the Greens.

There were 1-1 draws between Lewisham Borough and Soul Tower Hamlets, plus Faversham Strike Force and Tooting Bec, while Clapton Community v SC Thamesmead finished goalless.
