Just 3 points separate the top five in the First Division, as the league leaders lost today and many of the contenders picked up vital wins.

It was Lewisham Borough that upset pacesetters Canterbury City, with Mo Hechachena getting the only goal at Hartsdown Park.

Forest Hill Park are now level on points with City, after a 3-1 win over in-form Sheppey Sports and Faversham Strike Force are third following their 2-1 win at Croydon.

Tim Monsheju scored a double as Soul Tower Hamlets beat FC Elmstead 4-3 and a Luis Dos Santos brace helped Rochester United overcome Clapton Community.

Meridian VP remain without a point this season after Tooting Bec sent them home from Chipstead empty handed while it was defeat for Welling Town at Bridon Ropes, with five different scorersĀ  netting for Ropes in a 5-2 win.

SC Thamesmead extended their unbeaten run to 10 games, with victory over Greenways and James Bayford got the only goal of the game as Halls AFC beat Staplehurst Monarchs.
