A dramatic day in the Premier Division produced twelve goals in the matches between the top six, while all three sides who began the day in the bottom three places recorded victories in what could prove a key weekend in the season’s early narrative.

Bearsted remain top after a 4-1 home win over Erith & Belvedere. The visitors struck first through Rob Strachan on eight minutes, but the Bears hit back in style, led by goals from Jarred Trespaderne, Luka Radojevic and Jake Embery, before an own goal completed the scoring midway through the second half.

Level on points at the summit and still holding a game in hand are Whitstable Town, who recorded another emphatic result by sweeping aside Holmesdale 5-0 at The Belmont. Joe Healy struck twice in the first half, with Dean Grant (x2) and Javaun Splatt adding further goals after the break. It’s a second consecutive 5-0 defeat for seventh-placed Dale, who have suffered a sharp downturn.

Rusthall and Larkfield & New Hythe, third and fourth respectively, could not be separated in a 1-1 draw. Both goals came from the spot, Yassin Fares converting for the Rustics on 25 minutes before Tyler Ibe levelled deep into first-half stoppage time. Rusthall’s unbeaten league record remains intact.

At the bottom end, Stansfeld claimed a much-needed lift by ending an eight-game losing run with a 1-0 win over Kennington, Adam Wallis scoring early to earn only their second league victory of the season. They remain bottom, four points from safety, but momentum at least shifts in their direction.

They were joined in winning by Chislehurst Glebe, who made it back-to-back victories with a 1-0 success against Hollands & Blair, Jamie Philpot deciding it on 54 minutes. Glebe climb out of the drop zone, while Blair’s winless run stretches to seven matches as they fall to 16th.

Perhaps the standout performance of the day came from Corinthian, who defeated Faversham Strike Force 4-1 in a vibrant display at Gay Dawn Farm. Kieran King scored twice, with Jamie Billings and Ross Obazee also on target as the Hoops climbed to 15th. Jack Smith pulled one back late on for the visitors.

Hythe Town have dropped into the relegation places after a 3-0 defeat to Tunbridge Wells, who took control with goals from Thomas Penfold, Regan Corke, and Lucas Murrain. Hythe have now lost nine of their last ten league matches.

Snodland Town continue to look upward, winning 2-1 away at Punjab United to end the hosts’ eight-game unbeaten run. Charlie Sheringham struck twice in quick succession early in the second half, either side of Anthony Adesite’s reply, as Snodland strengthened their position in sixth.

Completing the day, Fisher edged Sutton Athletic 1-0 thanks to a Tom Jones goal early in the second half. That result extends Sutton’s winless streak to six games and drops them to eighth, while Fisher climb to 11th.
