Kennington sit top of the SCEFL Premier tonight after sweeping aside Holmesdale 4-0. Ryan Philpott’s first-half hat-trick set the tone, before Liam Middleton sealed a ninth point of the campaign for the Tons.

Sutton Athletic grabbed the shock of the season so far with a stunning 4-1 win over Whitstable Town. Taylor Fisher struck twice, while Conor Evans and Frank Little also found the net in a statement result at Lower Road.

It was late drama at Snodland, where Tunbridge Wells edged a five-goal thriller thanks to Regan Corke’s stoppage-time winner – the striker completing his second-half hat-trick after Charlie Sheringham had earlier bagged a brace for Town.

Erith & Belvedere also hit back from behind, inflicting Hythe Town’s first league defeat. Tunmisse Akanni gave Hythe the lead, but Danny Lear equalised before Ollie Milton struck a late double to lift the Deres up to seventh place.
