Faversham Town extended their lead at the top of the Premier Division table to 5 points following their 2-1 home win against Hollands & Blair.
First half goals from Danny Parish and Callum Davies gave Faversham a lead to hold on to and it was enough to gain the victory from despite a late effort from Murisiku Batula.
Bearsted were the only side in the bottom five to avoid defeat and they did that in style by beating Holmesdale 5-2. Sam Stace scored twice for the Bears with Dieko Falade, Connor French and Nathan Light getting the others. Malachi Hudson and Louie Clarke replied on a day to forget for Holmesdale.
Punjab United came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Lordswood. An Elliott Duncan double had seen the Lords lead early on but Punjab were not to be beaten and Arun Suman sealed the comeback in the 70th minute.
Rusthall moved into the top half of the table after winning their 6th game in a row. This victory came at struggling Lydd Town and was given to them by a Jack Kirby effort and a second half own goal.
Another team rising the rankings are Kennington, with today’s win against Glebe increasing their unbeaten run to 5 games. Fin Dent got the only goal of the game at Homelands and with the win Kennington are now in 11th place.
Ten men Snodland Town lost out to a last minute winner from Tunbridge Wells. A week to remember for Stanley Oldfield soon became a week to forget, when he received his marching orders in the first half, by which time Jack Walder had already given Wells the lead. Deep in the second half Kayden Turner-Bernard looked to have rescued Snodland a point but Regan Corke popped up in added time and all 3 points went home with Tunbridge Wells.
