VCD Athletic remain at the top of the Premier Division but their lead has shrunk to just one point following today’s Premier Division results.

VCD almost lost their long-standing place at the summit but for two late goals at home to Corinthian. Lorenzo Duncan and Henry Arnold had given the Hoops a 2-goal advantage before Michael Fenn and Ollie Freeman rescued a point for the Vickers at the death.

Faversham Town nearly took that top spot but instead just closed the gap to it after coming from behind to beat Snodland Town 3-1. Kane Philips put Snodland ahead before the league’s leading scorer, Tashi Jay Kwayie, added another 3 goals to his already impressive tally.

Punjab United won 2-1 at Bearsted, with Jack Barry and Wayne Bushell both scoring and Larkfield & New Hythe beat Hollands & Blair 1-0 with Harrison Carnegie getting the only goal.

With those victories Punjab and Larkfield both close in on Fisher in third place, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Kennington.

Glebe continued their fine form with a 2-1 win against Whitstable Town at Foxbury. Marcus Travers and Reggie Rye netted early for the Foxes, who are now in 6th place in the table.

Holmesdale ended a two month run without a win by beating Lordswood 2-1. Kelvin Hernandez and Bradley Ryan got the goals for Dale, who move up to 7th position.

The third team to win 2-1 were Rusthall, with goals from Yassin Fares and Jack Kirby helping them beat Lydd Town while an Arlie Desanges double saw saw Sutton Athletic beat Stansfeld 2-0.

On Sunday, Tunbridge Wells won 3-2 at Erith & Belvedere. Jacon Feasey gave Wells a first half lead before Dieko Falade levelled after the break. Harry Hudson scored either side of a late Freddie Baker penalty to go on and earn the visitors the 3 points.
