Bearsted are the new leaders of the Premier Division after brushing aside Stansfeld 4-1 at Honey Lane. The Bears were ruthless in the opening 40 minutes, racing into a four-goal lead through James Bessey, Jake Embery, Aidan Clark and Richard Jimoh. A Jimmy Shepherd strike denied them the clean sheet, but the damage had long been done. Bearsted now sit top of the pile, level on 19 points with Sutton but ahead on goal difference.

Holmesdale climbed to fourth after edging a lively clash with Corinthian 3-2. Callum Keeble, Nathan Palmer and Alfie Clark found the net for the Dale, while Ross Obazee struck twice for the visitors, who remain rooted near the foot of the table.

Snodland Town produced another thriller, winning 4-2 at Phoenix Sports to move up to sixth. An own goal, followed by efforts from Charlie Sheringham and Harry Hudson, had the visitors cruising, only for Phoenix to roar back before the break through Lyle Della Verde — who scored direct from a corner — and Jake Goodman. The second half couldn’t match the chaos of the first, but Nathaniel Olawole’s late strike killed off the contest. Even a 15-minute pause for a thunderstorm couldn’t spark Phoenix into life.

Hythe Town ended their losing run with a much-needed win at Chislehurst Glebe, who remain without a victory. Jamie Philpot gave the hosts the lead, but a Kian Scott double turned the tide and lifted Hythe out of their slump.

The day’s final game brought no goals, as Punjab United and Kennington played out a stalemate to round off the shortened Premier Division programme.

On Sunday Fisher were 3-2 winners at Erith & Belvedere. In an action-packed first half the Fish took the lead through an own goal, Ryan Fowler quickly levelled for the Deres and then the visitors were reduced to 10 men when Courtney Barrington was sent off. Danny Lear then put the hosts ahead and Flavio Jumo scored an equaliser. Just the one goal in the second half and it was Tom Jones that scored it, earning Fisher the 3 points which moves them up to 6th place in the table.
