Roots and Ropes Part Ways

 

Bridon Ropes have confirmed that First Team Manager Lee Roots has stepped down from his role following Saturday’s 3–0 home defeat to FC Elmstead.

The club accepted Roots’ resignation, bringing to an end a two-year spell in charge. During that time, Roots oversaw more than 100 matches and played a significant role in the club’s development both on and off the pitch.

Chairman Mick Puszyk paid tribute to Roots’ contribution, thanking him for his commitment, professionalism and dedication during his time at the club, while wishing him well in his future endeavours.

Interim Appointment Confirmed

Bridon Ropes have moved quickly to put an interim structure in place, confirming the return of Nathan Simpson as Interim First Team Manager with immediate effect.

Simpson is well known to the club and will provide continuity during what the chairman described as a transitional period.

Managerial Applications Open

The club have also confirmed they are now inviting applications for the permanent First Team Manager position.
