It was a real game of 2 halves at Rede Court Road, and fortunately for Rochester United their half was slightly better than their opponents so it is they that take the 3 points.
Ashley Cooper, Lucas Payne and Henry Archer all scored for The Spartans in a dominant first half performance.
After the break it was a different matter though and goals from Georgi Steeds and Romane McCrae brought Kent Football United right back into the game.
Despite being clearly being rattled and losing their discipline, Rochester held on to their lead to through to the final whistle to get the win.
