Matt and Martin replace Miles at Rochester United
Rochester United have announced that Matt Hume and Graham Martin will jointly lead the side following the announcement last week that Phil Miles has left the First Division Club.
“Matt Hume, chairman of the club, will carry on for now managing the team, with the introduction of Graham Martin as joint-manager,” said a club statement.
“We would also like to welcome Graham’s son Liam as part of the coaching team.
“The team, the committee and supporters welcome you both and wish you all the best.”
Graham Martin, who was Kris Browning’s number two at both K Sports and Larkfield & New Hythe revealed his joy on taking up his new role.
“I am delighted to confirm that I have been appointed as joint-manager of Rochester United,” he said via his Social Channels.
“It is an absolute honour to have been asked here by chairman and joint-manager Matt Hume.
“I can also confirm that my son Liam Martin has come with me as coach.”
Rochester parted ways with Phil Miles last week following a disappointing start to the season.
First up for the new Management Team is a home game against Faversham Strike Force on Monday 27 December
