Rochester United updates – 2022/23

 

Rochester United have provided a couple of updates ahead of the start of the 2022/23 season.

First-up, Manager Matt Hume is ‘delighted’ to retain Steve Tremain as Assistant Manager and Sam Sketchley as Goalkeeping Coach.

He has also further strengthened his Management Team with the addition of Michael Betts as head coach and Dan East as assistant coach.

Squad announcements will be made shortly, ahead of a 6th August start for the SCEFL First Division.

First player retained…. Mr Rochester United himself signs again for the new 22/23 SCEFL season; Tony Whitaker.


Player Retained…. GK Ben Nourse signs again for the new SCEFL campaign after a another superb season last year.


Player Retained… Our last announcement this evening sees Levi Gold (ST) say YES to another season at Rochester United.

Hopefully his goals again will help us finish higher up the table.


We are pleased to retain another one of our exciting pacey wingers in Emilio Regini Moran.

Emilio shows excellent ability, speed and determination week in week out.

Rochester United are pleased to retain defender Ben Wyness for the upcoming season.

Ben provides speed, energy and shows great character on the pitch.

Rochester United are pleased to retain defender Max Ciano for the upcoming 22/23 season.

Max provides a wealth of experience on and off the pitch.

We are pleased to retain our energetic, lively character Harrison Hume in CM as he continues for another season at Rochester United.

Rochester United retain our other GK Jamie Kelly who joined late on last season and proved to be a huge asset and stepped up when needed.

Rochester United are delighted to retain striker Lucas Payne who can do a job in midfield when needed, his link up play aswell as finishing is second to none.


New Signing…

Rochester United are pleased to welcome defender Frankie Phipps to the club for the new 22/23 season.

Previous clubs include, Sittingbourne and Sheppey.

Rochester are pleased to retain midfielder Liam Wilkins who again provides experience, agility and excellence on the ball.
