Punjab United in friendly feast

Punjab United hosted a couple of friendlies this week with results and performances positive as they step-up preparation ahead of their mini-tournament in May.

First-up for Punjab were Holmesdale, a side hoping to join them in the Premier Division next season.

Goals from Will Johnson-Cole, Arun Suman, Luke Adams and Sarven Mahey saw the game go the way of the hosts at the Elite Venue, with Lee Roots side scoring through George Acland and Soul Kader.

A few days later Punjab United hosted Sporting Bengal.

The game finished 1-1, despite Punjab dominating the play and chances. Will Johnson-Cole got the goal.
