Premier Division – Tuesday 15th February
Sheppey United and Deal Town were both winners in the only 2 games to take place in the Premier Division tonight.
Billy Bennett claimed a brace for Sheppey in a 3-2 victory at home to Erith Town.
The Ites were 3-0 up at the break, with Liam Gillies scoring before Bennett netted twice.
Erith came back in the second half, scored through Luke Coleman and Michael Power but ran out of time to find the leveller.
Sheppey are now just 3 points behind leaders Chatham Town and have a game in hand too.
Connor Coyne’s double for Deal Town included his 100th for the Club and it helped them on to a 5-2 win over Bearsted.
Ben Cardwell, Alfie Foster and Ben Chapman were the other Deal scorers who are closing in on 3rd placed Glebe and visit Foxbury this Weekend.
