Premier Division – 8th February
There were Premier Division wins for Bearsted, Punjab United and Sheppey United tonight.
Bearsted and Sheppey won at home by the single goal, with ‘The Bears’ edging out Holmesdale thanks to an early Jordon Ababio finish while ‘The Ites’ netted even quicker to beat Canterbury City 1-0.
Punjab United pulled off the best victory of the night by winning 3-0 at Crowborough Athletic.
Newly-signed Ashley Probets opened the scoring before Paul Vines and Will Johnson-Cole also found the net.
Sheppey’s win strengthens their second position, Bearsted move into the top half and Punjab now have daylight between themselves and the bottom 3 thanks to tonight’s results.
