Premier Division – 22nd March
Holmesdale, Tunbridge Wells, Kennington and Hollands & Blair all picked up wins on Tuesday night while a loss for Glebe has now surely ended their promotion dreams.
Holmesdale won 1-0 at Foxbury with Reuel Powell-Downey getting a breakaway goal in the first half.
The 3 points move ‘Dale’ closer to a top half place while defeat for Glebe means that promotion this season is now unlikely.
Kennington are now up to 5th thanks to a single goal victory over 4th placed Deal.
Tom Scorer got that goal in the 60th minute, extending Kennington’s unbeaten league run to 7 games and setting them up nicely for an excellent end to their first season at this level.
Tunbridge Wells were comfortable 3-0 winners at home to struggling Tower Hamlets.
Josh Frogatt opened the scoring early on before Matt Gething added a late double meaning Wells moved up to 8th place and Hamlets remain stranded at the bottom.
Hollands & Blair are now 9th after they saw off Welling Town 4-1 at Star Meadow.
Harry Brown, Joe Kane, Stuart West and Stephen Smith were all on target for Blair while Tim Monsheju scored a stunning goal for the beaten visitors.
