With the sides above them in FA Vase action, Erith Town closed the gap on the top trio thanks to a 2-1 win at Lordswood.
The Dockers completed their season double over the Lords thanks to goals from Harry Gamble and Dan Palfrey.
Erith & Belvedere moved above Holmesdale thanks to a last minute winner against them at Park View Road.
James Dyer scored a peach of a goal on debut for the Deres but had to look on as Cian McCarthy levelled the scores soon after.
The points stayed in Welling though when Drew Allassani scored a last minute winner and now Erith & Belvedere sit in 6th place.
Jordon Ababio scored a hat-trick for Bearsted in a 4-0 win at Fisher.
Sam Stace got the other for The Bears who are now positioned in the top half of the table.
Crowborough Athletic are just behind them as their good form continued when winning at Welling Town.
Despite going behind to an Ayub Kadiri opener Rhys Bartlett’s double helped the Crows to a 3-1 win, extending their unbeaten run to 6 games.
The highest scoring game came at Salters Lane where K Sports beat Canterbury City 5-2.
Kane Butler and Isaac Bignell both claimed doubles for the Paperboys while Harry O’Donnell and George Acland were on target for the hosts.
We had our first goalless game of the Premier Division season today as Tower Hamlets and Rusthall drew 0-0 at The Mayplace Ground.
The point keeps both sides in the bottom 4 but for Hamlets it did end a run of 8 consecutive losses.
The match between Hollands & Blair and Punjab United was abandoned early on due to an injury to one of the away sides players.
