Philpot commits to Glebe

 

Glebe have confirmed that striker Jamie Philpot will be staying at Foxbury until at least the end of the season, despite interest from several higher level clubs.

“Jamie has been outstanding this season with 23 competitive goals to date,” said Chairman Foxes Rocky McMillan.

“I’m delighted that despite many offers from higher league clubs, he is staying and will be a massive player in our quest for promotion.”

Philpot joined Glebe in September 2019 and has since scored over 50 goals in all competitions for the club.

“I’m delighted to commit to Glebe until at least the end of the season,” said Philpot.

“I enjoy a great relationship with Rocky and his wife Grace, the directors, fans, team mates and really enjoy working with the manager and the coaching staff.

“Glebe want to go into higher divisions and things are continually improving at Foxbury and I want to be part of it.”
