P&Co. SCEFL Challenge Cup 2024/25

Challenge Cup Final

Friday 18th April

Forest Hill Park 0-5 Snodland Town

at Cray Wanderers FC

Snodland Town are the 2024/25 P&Co. SCEFL Challenge Cup Champions following a 5-0 win in the final against Forest Hill Park.

A league record of 1,531 turned out at Cray Wanderers for this Bank Holiday Final and Snodland used the the atmosphere to race out of the traps and build up a quick lead.

Stanley Oldfield was almost unplayable in the first half, scored twice early on and only some fine keeping from ‘Big G’ denied the Snodland Striker a first half hat-trick.

A dominant opening 45 was confirmed by Charlie Sheringham’s close range finish meaning Snodland went into the break 3 goals to the good and on course to comfortably lift the Cup.

To be fair to Forest Hill they really improved in the second half and Josh Fowler was regularly called into action but wasn’t letting anything get beyond him.

An injury to Oldfield saw him replaced by Kayden Turner-Bernard on the hour mark and the substitute himself scored twice to hand his side the comfortable victory.
