Kent Senior Trophy Final
Sheppey United 1-2 Whitstable Town
Whitstable Town won the Kent Senior Trophy with an extra-time victory over Sheppey United at the Gallagher Stadium.
The Ites took a deserved lead when Omari Delgardo-Hibbert kept composed to score from the penalty spot a couple of minutes before half-time.
Whitstable grabbed an equaliser in the 66th minute with left-wing-back Josh Burchell smashing a stunning volley into the roof of the net before Tom Bryant came up from the back to head in the winner early in the first period of extra-time.

There were five goals from five different scorers for Deal Town on this day in 2017, in a 5-2 win at home to Croydon. Dan Adams, Joe Anderson, Joe Reeves, Charlie Walsh and Ryan Philpott all netted for the Hoops at the Charles Ground against a side that would finish the season two places higher in the table.
Ryan Dolby netted a double for Beckenham Town in a 3-0 win at Erith Town while Crowborough Athletic, Bearsted and Corinthian were all 1-0 victors, the latter two away from home.
Elsewhere, Emanuel Oloyede hit a late winner for AFC Croydon at Hollands & Blair and Kyle McDowell scored twice as Lordswood won at Tunbridge Wells.

Stansfeld were the biggest winners of the day as Max Richards and Ryan Hassan both scored doubles in a 7-2 win at Lewisham Borough while Chris Page and William Roomes also each grabbed a brace as Sutton Athletic won at K Sports.
Perrie Rose and Darryl Dylan were on target as Kent Football United won at Lydd Town and Mark Murison scored twice in a 3-2 Bridon Ropes victory over FC Elmstead.
Crckenhill v Phoenix Sports Reserves and Gravesham Borough v Forest Hill Park both finished level.

Greenwich Borough 3-2 Rochester United
Greenwich Borough were narrow winners in a thrilling game at home to Rochester United, on this day in 2015.
With the score at 2-2, and Joe Vines on a rare hat-trick, a last minute penalty was given to Borough but Vinesy was declined the chance of a third leaving Mo Eisa to smash home the winner.
In the other Premier Division game on this Wednesday night Danny Hockton replied a James Doherty opener to leave the points shared between Cray Valley PM and Sevenoaks Town.

Whyteleafe only lost 4 games on their way to the title in the 2013/14 season and one of them came tonight as Corinthian beat them by the narrowest of margins at Gay Dawn Farm.
That meant that Ashford’s 3-0 victory over Beckenham Town saw them take a temporary position at the top of the table while elsewhere Tunbridge Wells were comfortable 5-1 winners at home to Greenwich Borough.
