London FA Senior Cup

Cray Valley PM 3-2 Dulwich Hamlet

They may not be one of our sides now but they were back in 2017 so we celebrated with Cray Valley as they overcame Dulwich Hamlet to reach the London FA Senior Cup final.
The Millers reached this semi-final the hard way after beating Welling United 3-1 and AFC Wimbledon 2-1 before then showing great character to come back from being 2-0 down inside half-an-hour to beat Dulwich Hamlet 3-2 after extra time.
Hamlet raced into a two goal lead through Dumaka and Akinyemi before Taylor McDonagh curled in a beautiful solo goal to bring them back into the game in the final 17 minutes while Ben Francis capped off a hardworking night up front on his own with a cool finish to force extra-time.
Aaron Rhule sealed Cray Valley’s passage into the final early in the added period set up a Final against Met Police which the Millers would incredibly go on to win.
