New Season New Page for Kent Football United
Kent Football United have revealed the signing of experienced centre-back Sam Page.
KFU have been busy forming an impressive squad for the 2020/21 season with Page now the latest of 14 names confirmed to play at the EFES Stadium.
Sam started his career with Milton Keynes Dons at the start of the 2006/07 season and while there had loan spells at Hendon, Cambridge United and Walton & Hersham. A short spell at Rushden & Diamonds was followed by a year at Horsham before he joined Isthmian Premier side Sutton United where he remained for two seasons.. During his time there, he made 101 appearances and became the club captain, but left after a new training regime affected his work commitments.
In June 2012, Sam joined Conference South side Havant & Waterlooville, but left in November 2012 to join fellow Conference South club Staines Town. He left at the end of the season, and joined Isthmian Premier side Kingstonian in June 2013. Following 4 years with the K’s he joined Chipstead and now for the 2020/21 season makes the move to Kent Football United.
KFU get their pre-season campaign under way today at The Gallagher Stadium then will have a busy month of friendlies that should get them perfectly ready for a 5th September start to League football.
