Whitstable Town opened up a 4 point gap on the chasing pack after winning 4-2 at home to Bearsted on Tuesday night.
The Oysters were 2-0 up early on at the Belmont thanks to goals from Dean Grant and Bradley Walledge before the Bears squared the game by the break through Jarred Trespaderne and Jake Embery. Jack Nelson then netted his first goal for Whitstable before Dean Grant sealed the points late on.
Elsewhere, goals from Kesna Clarke and Michael Sarpong helped Fisher beat Glebe 2-0 while Punjab United won 1-0 against Hollands & Blair with Anthony Adesite getting the only goal.
On Wednesday night Faversham Strike Force handed Kennington their first home loss of the campaign when they left Homelands with the points after a 3-0 win. Joe Kay, Marshall Wratten and Harry Taylor got the goals for Strikeforce who move up a spot to 14th.
