Manager of the Month – 25/26

2025/26 Season P&Co. SCEFL Manager of the Month

December 2025

Premier Division

Jamie Coyle – Whitstable Town

First Division

Ian Docker – Staplehurst Monarchs

Whitstable Town manager Jamie Coyle has been named SCEFL Premier Division Manager of the Month after overseeing a perfect December, with his side recording five wins from five matches to strengthen their grip at the top of the table.

Four league victories against Faversham Strike Force, Corinthian, Chislehurst Glebe and Larkfield & New Hythe were complemented by an impressive 3–0 win away at Eastbourne United in the FA Vase, as Whitstable continued their defence of the competition. The outstanding run not only keeps the Oystermen clear at the summit of the Premier Division but also earns Coyle his second Manager of the Month award of the season.

Staplehurst Monarchs manager Ian Docker has been named SCEFL First Division Manager of the Month for December after guiding his side through a flawless run of results that has reignited their push towards the play-off places.

The Monarchs won all four of their league fixtures during the month, recording impressive victories over Sheppey Sports (4–2), Chessington & Hook United (2–1) and Croydon (1–0), while also backing that up with a commanding 5–0 win against Sheppey Sports in the Division One Cup. The consistency, defensive discipline and cutting edge shown throughout December underlined a side hitting form at exactly the right time, with Docker’s leadership playing a key role in their surge up the table.
Congratulations guys, the awards are on the way!

November 2025

Premier Division

Fraser Walker and Tony Reid – Larkfield & New Hythe

First Division

Brehn Chidley – FC Elmstead

November could not have gone any better for Larkfield & New Hythe as by the end of it they sat top of the Premier Division table and during the month played 5 games and won them all without conceding. Those wins over Erith & Belvedere, Hollands & Blair, Corinthian, Faversham Strike Force and Sutton Athletic have deservedly earned the joint managers Fraser Walker and Tony Reid the Manager of the Month Award.

It was Played 5, won 5 for FC Elmstead during November handing Brehn Chidley the First Division Manager of the Month Award. League wins over Staplehurst Monarchs, SC Thamesmead and Lewisham Borough were added to by Cup victories against Lewisham Borough and Rochester United as Elmstead positioned themselves nicely for a challenge towards honours in the second half of the season.

October 2025

Premier Division

Kevin Stevens – Bearsted

First Division

Antonio Gonnella – SE Dons

With two league wins and three cup victories, October couldn’t have gone much better for Bearsted.

Six crucial points against Hythe Town and Erith & Belvedere lifted the Bears to the top of the Premier Division table, while progress in the FA Vase, Kent Senior Trophy and Challenge Cup has turned this into one of the most exciting seasons in the club’s history.

A flawless month – and a fully deserved Manager of the Month award for Kevin Stevens.

SE Dons took part in five different competitions during October — and came through it with plenty to shout about.

Four league points were backed up by wins in the FA Vase, London Senior Trophy and Challenge Cup, with their only “defeat” coming on penalties after a draw at Punjab United in the Kent Senior Trophy.

Having reached three finals last season, Antonio Gonnella’s side look more than capable of another deep run across multiple fronts.

September 2025

Jamie Coyle – Whitstable Town

First Division

Reece Parara – AFC Greenwich Borough

Whitstable boss Jamie Coyle takes the award after a superb September that saw his side claim FA Cup scalps against Chichester City and Hungerford Town, alongside league victories over Kennington, Hollands & Blair and Tunbridge Wells.

AFC Greenwich Borough continued their unbeaten start under Reece Parara, who edges Rochester United to claim the award. Borough sit top after league September wins against SE Dons, SC Thamesmead, Lordswood and Welling Town, while also progressing in the London Trophy with victory over AS London.

August 2025

Premier Division

Peter Nolan – Sutton Athletic

First Division

Michael Betts – Rochester United

Sutton Athletic finished August as surprise leaders of the SCEFL Premier Division, and with 4 wins from their 5 games played during the month, Peter Nolan is the first winner of the Manager of the Month Award for the 2025/26 season.

Sutton started with a win over Snodland and followed it up with victories against Whitstable Town, Tunbridge Wells and Phoenix Sports to see out an impressive start to the new campaign.

A few teams have started their First Division season well but none better than Rochester United, who won all 4 of their August league games plus advanced through the first stage of the FA Vase.

That means Michael Betts is our First Division Manager of the Month for August, thanks to victories over Croydon, Banstead Athletic, Lydd Town and Bridon Ropes as well as that Vase win over Colliers Wood.
