Manager departs League leaders
Tony Beckingham has tonight announced that he has left his role as Erith & Belvedere First Team Manager.
‘Becks’ joined the Club just ahead of the 2022/23 season and has led them to the top of the table, where they have a 17 point cushion over the chasing pack.
He has stated ‘fundamental football differences between myself and the Chairman’ as the reason why he has walked away.
Erith & Belvedere have revealed that Assistant Manager, Andy Constable, will lead the first team duties as Interim manager, assisted by all of the current backroom staff. “Andy and the team have done a fantastic job this season and continue to work towards our goals.” said a club announcement on Twitter.
‘The Deres’ visit second-placed Stansfeld on Saturday.
