Kennington unveil new Frontman

Kennington Manager Dan Scorer has strengthened his attacking options with the signing of former K Sports, Margate and Chatham Town man, James Jeffrey.

Jeffrey, 19, made 15 appearances for Chatham Town last season, finding the target five times, having previously impressed at Isthmian level under Jay Saunders at Margate.

Scorer said: “I’m absolutely delighted to welcome James to the club. “He’s a player that I’ve had on my radar for quite some time and I’m pleased to finally have him on-board.

“He’s an extremely exciting player to watch, and has had plenty of opportunities to showcase his abilities at a very good level.

“He’s been a little unfortunate not to be playing as consistently as he’d of liked, so now is a fantastic opportunity to do that with us, at Kennington.
