Joe Ford tells his story

Speaking on the The D&K Reposs Lets Talk Show Joe Ford this week gave us an insight into the events that have unfolded in his life over the last 15 months.

Joe, and his family, have been struck down with some incredible bad luck recently and in this hour-long episode he gives us the rundown of what has happened.

The Ford family are well known to all involved in football in Kent, with Martin managing VCD Athletic through the leagues, aswell as spending time in the dugout at Erith & Belvedere and Erith Town. Martin’s son Joe began his coaching career at Kent Football United before moving on to Cray Valley and Erith & Belvedere. He then took the hotseat himself at SC Thamesmead.

All was going well until March 2019 when overnight their world turned on it’s head. Joe explain it all here….

Although it is a deeply sad and emotional story it is great to see Joe returning to fitness and we have no doubts that we will see him on the touchlines at a SCEFL club in the not to distant future!
