Jessop handed permanent Blair role

 

Hollands & Blair have confirmed Luke Jessop as their new First Team Manager.

Jessop stepped up to the role in an interim position following Scott Porter’s resignation last month, but has now had that cemented until the end of the season.

Blair released this statement;

“After careful consideration, We are pleased to have appointed the new first team manager from within the club by promoting from our reserves and extending the interim caretaker position to permanent by offering Luke Jessup and his backroom staff as the new management team until the end of the season.

They will start this new era with an away fixture at VCD Athletic on Saturday 3rd February.

Although the role wasn’t advertised, we received a fair few enquiries about the position and we thank all those who made contact and showing interest.

We wish Luke and his team all the best.”

Hollands & Blair were 3-1 losers at VCD Athletic on Saturday and next-up visit Snodland Town on Wednesday night.
