Holmesdale begin 21/22 Season squad announcements

 

Holmesdale have begun the reveal the line-up of their 2021/22 squad.

The club will participate in the Premier Division this season following deserved promotion from Step 6.

James Teodorescu will continue as captain with James Shield as remaining as vice captain.

Rolex Buiti

Lee Roots – “Rolex is a fantastic player with a great drive & hunger for the game. An extremely talented player with a fantastic footballing eye & brain. He will certainly add & improve our defensive qualities across the team & I am delighted to welcome Rolex to the club this season.”

Owen Punselie

Lee Roots – “Owen is a player who we have been aware of & watching for some time now. He is superb talent with an impressive footballing pedigree & CV. He offers pace, power with lethal finishing. I’m over the moon to have Owen signed with us & to see him link up with our existing players & squad for the new season ahead.”

John Foster

Lee Roots – “John has been in working with the squad since our return phase begun back in April & has been a stand out player. He offers superb experience, leadership & fantastic defensive qualities. I’m delighted to have John now all signed up & on board fully with us for the new season.”

Jacob Skelly

Lee Roots – “Jacob is an extremely talented & well experienced footballer within the SCEFL divisions, boasting excellent step 5 experience from playing his trade in the league before with Fisher. He now returns to Holmesdale for 2nd spell & we are delighted to be have Jacob signed & on board for the season.”

Aaron Amartey

Lee Roots –  “Aaron is extremely direct & versatile player. He has been excellent throughout pre season training, & was very unlucky to not come away with a goal of season contender already on our last outing vs Faversham Town. I am very excited to see Aaron linking up with the rest of the squad & we are delighted to have him at the club.”

Charlie Hackshall

Lee Roots  – “Charlie is an extremely gifted & talented footballer & offers excellent SCEFL experience from playing his trade in the premier division before with AFC Croydon. He returns for his 2nd spell under my management we I am truly delighted to have Charlie signed & on board with us for the season.”

William Polius

Lee Roots  – “William has quickly become know around the camp as BIG MAN, boasting a presence & a build of that of a man mountain. William was particularly impressive on our return phase training in April & also in games in May, especially vs Margate first team. We are delighted to have William signed & on board for the season.”

Donell Sama

Lee Roots  – “Donell is truly a speed wizard of a player if there ever was one. Donell offers pace that really does have to be seen to be believed. He was excellent in our return phase games, ending that period as top goalscorer. He offers great experience from his time at Phoenix Sports & Greenwich Borough & we are delighted to get down to work with Donell this season.”

Dami Oni

Lee Roots – “Dami is an extremely gifted & talented footballer. He has performed extremely well in a very impressive pre-season campaign, he is a extremely well rounded & very well experienced player. I am truly delighted to have Dami signed & on board with us for the new season.”

Holmesdale are busy working through their pre-season campaign, with the real stuff getting under way on 31st July at K Sports.

Khari Oriogun

“Khari is by far one of the most naturally talented & exciting attacking players around. He offers not only a fantastic footballing pedigree, but also boasts excellent step 5 playing experience. Khari has been in with the group for a number of months & I am truly delighted to have Khari at the club, signed & fully on board with us for the new season.”
