First Division – Easter Monday
Following today’s results we now know 3 of the 4 play-off teams with the final one to be decided on Saturday between Bridon Ropes and Tooting Bec.
Ropes were 1-0 winners today and they will be hoping to join Sutton Athletic, Larkfield & New Hythe plus Snodland Town in the end of season promotion knockout.
Sutton were involved in a real classic with tenants FC Elmstead today with the final score ending 4-4 after a dramatic second half.
Alex Arif netted a hat-trick from the spot for Elmstead while Arlie Desanges scored a trio for Sutts – the final one being an important last minute leveller.
Caine Smith scored twice for Snodland Town in a 5-0 win at home to Staplehurst Monarchs and Jake Beecroft got the only goal of the game for Larkfield v Greenways.
We know the bottom 3 teams, just not yet the order they will finish as Forest Hill Park lost to SC Thamesmead and Meridian VP went down to a last minute Stansfled winner. Chessington & Hook play tomorrow when hosting Tooting Bec.
There was a 1-0 win for Croydon over Westside, 3-1 victory for Kent Football United at home to Faversham Strike Force and Rochester United and Lydd Town played out a 1-1 draw.
