Only 4 First Division games survived the day with 3 of them providing wins for our promotion contenders.
Rusthall picked up their 4th win in a row when overcoming Meridian VP 3-2 at Jockey Farm.
All of the goals came in the first half with Danny Lear grabbing 2, giving the Rustics thew in that puts them on the coat-tails of the top 4.
Rochester United are now 3rd, after they edged past Kent Football United 1-0.
Lucas Payne got the only goal of the game for the Spartans, keeping them unbeaten this season and well placed to execute their aims.
Snodland Town came out best in a 5-goal thriller with FC Elmstead to end a losing run and move up to 8th.
Their 3-2 success was given to them with goals from Sam Winch, Brad Webb and Adam Turton, stopping a 3-game skid and getting their season right back on track.
Defences came out best in the Bridon Ropes v Lewisham Borough game, with the 0-0 being the second in a row for the Ropes, and just the second of the season for the First Division.
The match between Lydd Town and Greenways was postponed.
