First Division – 29th January
We had 9 First Division games today with just Lewisham Borough and Snodland Town taking a break from the action.
Sutton Athletic returned to the top of the table afther they won 3-0 at home to Chessington & Hook and Stansfeld drew 2-2 with Bridon Ropes.
Croydon came from behind to 2-1 win at Larkfield & New Hythe – Nick Wilson scored a double, while Meridian VP ended Snodland Town’s fine run with a 2-1 success in South East London while the 3rd game of that scoreline went in SC Thamesmead’s favour down at Lydd.
FC Elmstead converted 2 penalties to win at Forest Hill Park and it was a late Brad Cross goal that earned Greenways the points at Westside FC.
Rochester United v Staplehurst Monarchs finished goalless and it was 1-1 between Kent Football United and Tooting Bec.
