First Division – 18th December
Our 5 First Division fixtures gave us 22 goals and wins for Westside, Snodland Town, SC Thamesmead and Lydd Town.
This round-up begins with the only drawn game though where Larkfield & New Hythe v Rochester United finished 2-2.
Rex Ejimonyeabala scored the first and last goals of the game with James Jeffrey and Hicham Akhazzan netting for the Larks in-between.
SC Thamesmead scored 5 at Staplhurst Monarchs and as a result have now entered the top half of the table for the first time this season.
Their 4th consecutive win was given to them with goals from Dan Edwards x2, Tim Beckford, Sam O’Keefe and Nduakulu.
Lydd Town also scored 5 and all of them came in the first half at home to Meridian VP.
Brad Baker and Ryan Philpot both netted twice with Ryan Smith getting the other in a 5-2 win.
There was just the one goal at Potyn’s and it went to the hosts as Snodland Town beat Croydon 1-0.
Dan Ashton’s second half strike continued Snodland’s drive up the table and this 3 points has helped them to occupy a play-off place.
Westside were 4-1 winners away at FC Elmstead.
Ayman Dahdouh, Nicholas Pavlou, Tevon Webster and Francis Mampolo were all on target for Westside, who with back-to-back victories are now 8th.
