Faversham Town Updates ahead of their 2023/24 Premier Division Season

 

Faversham Town are delighted to announce Jefferson Aibangbee has agreed to join the Lilywhites on a season long loan from Sheppey.
Towns gaffer,Sammy Moore said “Absolutely delighted to secure Jefferson a top play with real quality but also pure pace and goals he will be a huge asset to our team!

Faversham Town are delighted to announce prolific goalscorer Warren Mfula has agreed to join Town.
Town’s Chairman, Gary Smart said: “Welcome Warren and his family to Faversham Town Football club, yet again another amazing signing for the club. Warren is a proven goalscorer at our level and the above and possibly the level above that , Warren and Gary Lockyer along with Jefferson would give problems to any defence. We are so pleased to secure his signature, Warren becomes Faversham Town Football clubs undisclosed record signing. This announcement yet again puts a stake in the ground of our intentions not just for this year but for many years to come.
Welcome Warren and his family to the Lillywhites, and we are sure that all the Faversham Town Football club supporters, look forward to watching you score many goals next season.”

TOWN are delighted to announce that former player Ashley Miller has agreed to sign for the club for next season.
Gaffer, Sammy Moore promised that he would get his business done early for next season and he hasn’t disappointed as we welcome another fantastic player to the club. Ashley played for Town between 2017-2019 making 59 club appearances. Welcome back to Faversham Town FC Ashley Miller.
Ashley has been in excellent form over the last few seasons for Ramsgate and with his skill and trickery will sure to be a fans favourite next season and beyond and will form part of a formidable front line for the Three Lions.

After unprecedented interest from many Clubs, Faversham Town FC are extremely pleased to announce our latest signing today as we welcome ex Sheppey & Chatham attacking midfielder Billy Bennett to the Aquatherm Stadium
Billy needs no introduction to Kent football fans having represented a number of clubs over the last few seasons and is one of the Counties “Serial winners” He played a major role in Sheppey’s title winning season scoring 24 goals from midfield before moving to current champions in the Isthmian South Eastern, Chatham Town. Billy probably knows this level better than any other player and is looking forward to helping with the Three Lions promotion push for 23/24.

Faversham Town FC are really excited to announce the latest news. Staying with the club that he rejoined last year is the extremely talented winger Kieron Campbell!

TOWN are delighted to announce that Jake McIntyre has agreed to join the club in 2023/24 season.
Jake, who has been the skipper for Ramsgate FC for the last 3 years and played over 80 games in that time, joins with great pedigree. Jake is a left sided defender that can play as part of a three or four man defence and will offer the steel that’s needed.

Faversham Town are delighted to announce the signing of striker, Gary Lockyer. Gary has scored nearly 40 goals in the last two seasons at Ashford United.

TOWN bring in former Folkestone Invicta defender, Josh Vincent!
Josh who made a whopping 613 appearances for The Seasiders. Town’s Manager, Sammy Moore said of his latest recruit: “We are over the moon to announce the signing of Josh Vincent for Faversham Town, JV is a well respected defender and a great character on and off the field, has been a regular in a brilliant Folkestone team for many seasons. He comes to us with a wealth of valuable experience and a player I have admired for some time. He is a solid defender and a threat in the opposition box also.

TOWN are delighted to announce that midfielder Mo Kamara has joined the club for next season 2023/24
Mo has experience form higher leagues having played for Concord (national south) Potters Bar (Isthmian Premier) to name a couple.

Town can confirm another signing in Sam Hasler, the former title wining midfielder joins for the 2023/24 season. Gaffer Sammy Moore was delighted by the capture “Absolutely delighted to get a player of Sam’s calibre for next season, he will bring a winning mentality but also fantastic quality in open play, especially in set pieces situations. Sam is a top lad and believes in the journey and ambition of the football club, I am sure he will become a fans favourite in no time”

Matt Newman signs for the 2023/2024 season: We finally got our Man!
Chairman Gary Smart delighted by the signing said: “I tried approaching Folkestone many times this season to sign Matt Newman for the Lilywhites, but with his commitment and loyalty to Folkestone and the club’s reluctance to let him leave, he was not going to be swayed even with our professional working relationship, this is very rarely seen in the game at any level and we commend Matt for that stance.”
He leaves Folkestone after 10 years of service and a true Invicta legend.

Fantastic news, U23s player Harry Codd has been promoted and signed for the first-team for next season, Harry who has played a vital role on the u23s title efforts. Harry has had 9 appearances with the first-team this season. This also shows the club’s commitment to bringing through players in the youth section, something Sammy Moore is very passionate about. Congratulations Harry, your hard work has paid off!

Town are delighted to announce the signing of ex-Dartford defender Connor Essam.

Towns Chairman, Gary Smart said: “Welcome to Faversham Town Football Club, Connor Essam, what a signing this is! One of the best centre halves in non-league and probably one of the best signings in non-league, he has agreed to join Sammy and the boys, from Dartford. We have been tracking Connor for the last few months and  after meeting him a few weeks ago we can see what a gentleman he is. He’s a family man, and having welcomed the newest addition just a few weeks ago, we all send our congratulations.  Now we can add Connor to the FTFC family, along with all the great additions we’ve made for the new season. Connor’s signing shows our intent as a football club to push on, not just this season but in the seasons to come. I’m sure you will join me in welcoming Connor Essam to the football club. This announcement concludes the new look Faversham Town Football Club squad for 2023-2024 season, and what an amazing squad it is!. I’m sure all the Faversham Town Football Club supporters will be excited and expecting good things from the team for the season ahead.”
