The Second Round of the FA Vase takes place this weekend and we have 7 SCEFL sides involved!

Three SCEFL sides made it through to the FA Vase Third Round on Saturday, with Holmesdale, Deal Town and Erith Town picking up good cup wins.
Holmesdale raced into an early lead at home to Haywards Heath and never looked back, eventually coming away 3-1 victors. Manny Oshinowo opened the scoring on 3 minutes, Callum Keeble doubled their advantage soon after and Sam Bayford made the game safe from the spot on the hour mark.
Deal Town made light work of Newhaven, handing their Southern Combination hosts a 4-1 defeat. Rory Smith claimed a second half double to add to earlier efforts from Tom and Ben Chapman.
Erith Town were 2-0 winners at home to Peacehaven & Telscombe. A James Dyer penalty and second half Harry Taylor strike put the Dockers into Monday’s Third Round hat.
Snodland Town will go again after seeing their tie at Farnham Town abandoned due to an injury to a Match Official.
Glebe and Punjab United were unlucky losers today. Glebe took Burnham to a penalty shoot-out, but lost 11-10, while Punjab United were knocked out by a last minute spot kick at Roffey.
Sunday saw Tunbridge Wells lose at Lingfield by a single goal.
