There were FA Cup Preliminary Round wins for Faversham Town, Whitstable Town, and Kennington today while Erith Town and Lordswood have replays after impressive draws and the game between Lydd Town and Deal suffered a late abandonment.
Fin Dent’s late double sealed Kennington’s route past Cobham and Matty Parsons got the winner for Faversham Town at home to Merstham.
Whitstable Town won the all-SCEFL battle with VCD Athletic while the other Premier Division clash had to be called off when an injury to the Deal Town keeper brought their game at Lydd Town to an early conclusion.
They will need to go again, as will Erith Town, against Burgess Hill Town and Lordswood, who pulled off an impressive draw with Cray Valley.
