FA Vase Quarter Final
Corinthian 4-3 Leighton Town
Match Summary
Corinthian are through to the semi-finals of the FA Vase after a dramatic last minute victory over Leighton Town today. With the scores level at 3-3 in a topsy-turvy game Emmanuel Oloyede fired the Hoops through to the last 4 with a calm finish in the dyimg moments.
The game started at a hectic pace that led to Corinthian being 2-1 up after 11 minutes with both Jack Billings and Luke Tanner scoring. Early in the second half Ashton Campbell hit a double to give the visitors the lead before Jack Bath headed home the equaliser. That saw us heading for a replay until Oloyede took advantage of a defensive slip to set up a double header with Hebburn Town with a day out at Wembley as the prize.
