A record SCEFL crowd of 1,876 attended the Premier Division game between Chatham Town and Sheppey United this afternoon.
The huge support at The Bauvill Stadium witnessed a victory for the home side that has put them 7 points clear at the top of the table.
Dan Bradshaw finished well for the first of Chatham’s 2 goals before being involved in the scramble that led to the second, which looked to have received a final touch from debutant Dean Beckwith.
Next up for the leaders is the visit of Tower Hamlets on Saturday while at the same time Sheppey will look to bounce back at home to Bearsted.
