Canterbury Boss quits post

 

Canterbury City have today announced that First Team Manager Keith Bird has quit his role at the Club.

A brief Club statement reads:

“From immediate effect Keith Bird has resigned as Manager of CCFC. The club would like to thank Keith for all his hard work. A full statement will be issued shortly.” 

Bird took the job on in January of this year but results this season would not have been as he had hoped with Canterbury currently propping up the Premier Division.

City are next in action on 27th December away at Whitstable Town.
