Boyes announced as Crowborough Athletic Chairman

Crowborough Athletic have announced the appointment of Malcolm Boyes as Club Chairman.

Malcolm has previously served as both their Youth & Senior Sections Chairman, during the most successful periods of the Clubs history

Malcolm said “Even after Covid-19 & the necessary lockdown restrictions, the Committee have done a terrific job in keeping the Club in great shape. I am looking forward to working with them; making sure we continue to do the best for the Club, our players & supporters.”

The Premier Division Club have thanked their previous Chairman, Joe Croker for his service and in particular, for guiding the Club through the difficulties of the last year. Joe will continue to be seen around the Club as he manages their Floodlight replacement project this summer.

The Crows have also revealed that next season they will be entering a team in the Mid Sussex League.

This new Saturday team will be an additional pathway for youth players looking to gain experience in open age football. Under an experienced existing management team & FA level 2 coaches these players will train with Crowborough’s u23’s team who play in the Southern Counties midweek u23 North league.

Players of any age wishing to find out more details about this team should email cafcu23@outlook.com
